Recently

The past month has been a whirlwind. We moved from Nashville to St. Louis. We are loving being back, but missing our Nashville friends! We enjoyed spending time with family on a staycation at my parents. We have just moved into our new place here in STL and we are enjoying making it our own. Here are some pictures that show our recent happenings.

Current Family Favorite

The newest and cutest addition to the Marshall family. This little one is loved by many!

The best part? We get to see him again this weekend. :)

running and laughter

Alex knows how to make life entertaining.  I can't even count the number of times I have cried myself to sleep. Not from sadness, but from laughter. I am constantly finding random notes or items that he leaves around the apartment just waiting for me to notice. Here is an example:

We have just started training for a 10k. We've been doing well all week then Friday (day 6) came and I asked if we could maybe skip a day because I was tired and didn't feel like running. Who wants to spend their Friday night running? (I am the queen of excuses) Alex said no, so we ran (He is the king of sticking to things). Later on I found our training schedule in the kitchen and noticed he has been taking "notes" on our training schedule.

I am so sure. What a goober.

4th of July

Alex and I headed to St. Louis for the holiday weekend. We had such a great time relaxing, spending time with family, shooting off fireworks, watching fireworks, eating great food, and enjoying conversation during the storms when the lights went off :)
