Things we love about camping: (in no specific order)
-Surrounded by nature
-Camp food
-Campfires
-Backpacks...no suitcases
-Sitting around the picnic table/campfire listening to Alex play the guitar
-No phones
-Waking up to nature sounds instead of an alarm clock
-Sleeping in our cozy little tent
-Good conversations around the fire
-Hammock time
-Stargazing
-Bandanas and buffs
-And so many many more things....

We saw several shooting stars. It's good to get away.

More Nashville

We hope your not tired of Nashville pics yet because here come some more!

Last weekend we met Ben and Shanika and some of their friends at one of our new favorites. The Pfunky Griddle. It's a DIY kind of breakfast place...and absolutely delicious. You have a griddle in the middle of your table and you can make pancakes, eggs, french toast, and potato cakes. If you haven't been there it is a must visit. Totally awesome.

Later that day we headed out to the city hoping to catch some sweet sunset shots. We didn't. But here are some that we did get.

This little guy was very close to ending our camera's life. Had I seen it jump between my legs I most definitely would have thrown the camera at the thing in a flail like fashion. I don't like frogs.

I asked Alex if I looked like the guy who sings "every rose has it's thorn"....I'm not good with names.

Life is an Adventure.

When life gets busy stress has a way of entering very quickly. So the other day Alex said to me "When ever we start to get stressed about things lets just remind each other that life is an adventure. It just makes things more fun and exciting." So the other day when this happened....

Alex said, "let's take a picture to put on our blog so we can remember our adventures." :)

This poor phone has survived countless falls. I'm afraid this one just might be the last. I told Alex I can still use it...he assured me that I cannot. Here's to life's adventures!
